hi if you too share same problem like me, that you can upload a file to your server through FTP only, but uploading through FTP is banned in your campus…… and there is not other way you can think of … then this post may help you… well if uploading through FTP is blocked in your campus then there is one way to upload a file that is using ” web based FTP client” as they work on http protocol. when you google for it( web based FTP client) first result that you get is net2ftp – a web based FTP client. Well its pretty much good and the best part is its free :) but if I had to suggest about this only, then why i need to write a post for it. Anyone can use it from google search. But if you would have used its services you might have faced one problem, at least i did. It was they only allow to upload a file which is less then 5 mb (that hurts…). For me I needed to upload a file around 10 mb. So i needed to search for another service. Well when you look for other results on google search the only problem was that most of them are paid services and i wanted to use some service which is freely available. Well after a while I finally got one…. F->IT Its free and it does not impose any file size restriction(as far as i know, in case there is, please let me know).. through it I have successfully uploaded files upto 10 mb :) so in case if you need to upload a file you can give a try to these, as such both are nice and working :) :) to keep this post short and sweet: there are two web based FTP client(as such there many but i like these two most)

  1. net2ftp – a web based FTP client (but it have 5 mb file size restriction).
  2. F->IT (dont know exactly about any restriction but i have successfully uploaded files upto size 10 mb through it)
